Held Captive

One of the most important things we learned from the Babycare & Parenting class was to swaddle the baby. That's easy to do as long as he isn't crying. The blanket looks tight around him, like it's suppose to. The purpose is to make him feel secure, as if he were in the womb.

Bundled

At times, Connor would cry for no apparent reason. Yes, we checked his diaper, fed him, swaddled him, held him, rocked him, checked his temperature, gave him infant gas relief drops, and even sang to him. Finally, we decided to try a pacifier as a last resort. He took it long enough to snap this picture before spitting it out.
